Koukla and Kamina
The beaches of Koukla and Kamina are a tranquil and serene place, with great contrast of the nearby crowed beach of Laganas. The beach is narrow with quite a lot of rocks, but the water is shallow for a long way out and sandy. The beaches are only accessible with two stairs which are quite tricky to find. Due to the clay cliffs surrounding the beach it is wind free and secluded. Although the Caretta Caretta turtles due not nest here, they do swim just out of the coastline.
With a few minutes walk further inland the oldest olive trees of Zakynthos can be seen. These trees, as thicker as a car and more then a thousand years old, are very worth the stroll.
