On top of the hill, above Zakynthos town, is the district of Bochali. Here locals hang out to see and to be seen, and in case one saw enough there is always the view. The square of Bochali is famous for its spectacular view over the capital below.

At all hours of the day the spot is a magnificent place. At dawn the sun rises up over the sparkling sea, during daytime the business of the town can be observed and during night time the view of all the lights with a moon above is pure romance.

Do not forget to visit the small and intimate church of Zoodochos Pigi with its antique icons and golden interior.
